Why is it better than a Polo?I have a VW T-Cross great small suv.
Can you fit clubs in the boot?

It’s higher so the Mrs can get in and out easier with her arthritis only reason I swapped it from a PoloWhy is it better than a Polo?

Yeah, I don't love the looks of the Cross....but it's better than the CHR....My wife thinks it looks like people found some spare panals and just cobbled it together. I'm also not a fan of the multicoloured paint schemes. Even if I had wanted the Cross with the bigger battery (and more powerful), couldn't get it unless it was two toned. Not any uglier than the Yaris Cross.
Well, for better or worse, ordered the Yaris cross yesterday...supposed to get in December. Going to miss how easy it is to park the ignis. Toyota was offering a 3 year service for £1008 with an mot. Refused it at first, but after thinking about it overnight I might take it. Includes a couple extra years of breakdown coverage. But...why the mot? You get 4 years now anyway.
+1Late on to this but once I stop working I'll need to buy a car and I may get one of those fast disappearing breeds. An estate. More space than an SUV, lower loading height, and just as easy to drive.
My priority is easy to get in and out of....and I'm not getting younger.+1
The only advantage of an SUV is that they are easier to get in & out.
(Except the Qashqai we looked at - it was so high that my wife struggled to get in!)
As long as I can get in and out easy....you can call it a magic pumpkin.Of course, a lot of the cars discussed in this thread are crossovers and not SUV's. Just making a pedantic point.

Thats the reason I chopped my perfectly good Mazda 3 for a Mazda CX5. Getting in and out is so much easier, but the CX5 is only marginally longer and wider, so next to no impact when parkingMy priority is easy to get in and out of....and I'm not getting younger.
I got rear-ended in early Sept and when they took my Ignis in for repairs they gave me a CX5 to use for a week. I liked it....but tooooo big for me. I thought about looking at some Mazda's....but there is something about that long nose they have now that irritates me. Mazda seems to moving up a few steps in the world these days.Thats the reason I chopped my perfectly good Mazda 3 for a Mazda CX5.
