Slow Play!!!!

Pretty sure age is irrelevant in the OP's post. Their sheer ignorance is astounding and I'd be trying to name names to the powers that be and ask that they look at the matter. We have a group on a Saturday that go out before ours that are terrible for slow play, have ignored polite requests on the course to play through (at least a hole and a half behind at the time), ignored polite conversation in the bar over several weeks and their behaviour is starting to cause issues as they are setting the pace for the day. The only option would be to refer it upwards. We tried it before without success but there are more and more names willing to sign the letter

Letter handed in tonight at team match. Signed by myself and playing partners. I have tried to find out who they were however, was unable. Annoyed me even more now as I was stood on the same tee in the same position and went on to be -4 thru 14 holes to win 6 and 4!!!!

Maybe you should demand an I.D parade.

So how do you plead rosecott ... guilty or not guilty? Please note that 'absolute cobblers' does not count as a valid plea.

Not guilty my lord (apologies for the late reply but have been unavailable for a few days). Strangely enough, that was not my recollection of a very tough medal round at Woodhall. Like everyone else, I don't consider myself to be a slow player. If, having played in the same group as around 20 forummers, 5 of them come forward - don't all rush - to brand me as a slow player, I will undertake to change my forum name to Tortoise.

I wasn't at Woodhall, but I've played half a dozen rounds with Rosecott and wouldn't say he was slow.

I am more than willing to say I might be though, so maybe I'm not the best judge :)
