Slow play and the effect on your game.

Ended up playing twice at the weekend, my door to door on Saturday was 11 hours and 9 hours on Sunday (I have a very understanding wife)

played a 38 hole open a couple of weeks ago as a 3 ball in 50 MPH winds on a 6800 yard course, we were 1st out and tee's off at 8am. had lunch between rounds and had a drink after the round, i was back home in Inverness by 4PM from the other side of Nairn.

if all 36 hole opens were like this i would play more.... Though not the 50 mph wind obviously

Offer of a game with you is still there Homer. I will come to your place and frog march you around your course, leaving all your pseudo-nonsense in the locker room. I will pick your clubs for each shot, no elongated PST, no aimpoint, no practice swings, no laser yardage calculations. Just grab the right club (ish), get lined up and hit it. And I won't take the piss out of your daft shoes either.
