Hi Guys and Girls
I've played in sunny Spain and wet and windy Ireland this year and have experienced all the elements. I had a problem in Spain, it was so hot that I had to keep re-applying my sunscreen. In Ireland, there was no sun but my face was red raw after the wind beating it got. Both incidents are not good for the skin. I have tried a load of sunscreen but cant seem to find one that last long (ie no need to reapply every 2 hours, hence the hands will get greasy) nor one that protects your face against the harsh wind.
I have spoken to a good friend and we both agree that you do need to be careful and we have done some research on this subject. I have 3 questions :
1) do you think about your skin before and after a round ie do you think it is important nowadays to wear a sunscreen?
2) if Yes - do you actaully practice what you preach - what sunscreen do you wear?
3) would you like to see a sunscreen specifically for golfers ie would you buy it?
Let me know your thoughts, I am intrigued.
Cheers
