Singles matchplay today

Playing in a singles matchplay comp today against the captain of the juniors (hcp 7) and while at the club captains day presentation night last Saturday he was giving it billy big balls after having a few sherbets he is 18 so my dilemma is 1 do I get in his head which is really easy with him an play mind games or just go out and play golf

I'd just go out play golf and hopefully win.

But then I'm not really into mind games and all that, just prefer to let the golf do the talking

Just go out and play your game unless he starts giving it some. If he does, do whatever you need to without affecting your own performance.
