The last 2 threads I've read were about £50 scorecard holders and £50 head shrinking!!

Don't forget there is plenty of choice available. While the gullible are spending money on this worthless junk us savvy golfers will be making far better use of our £50 by buying a pre-shot routine.

A product is only worth what someone will pay for it. If someone will pay £50 for a scorecard then so be it.
If someone was able to get 10 years out of it and 40 rounds of golf per year, I would say that is good value.

Think about some of the clothes or shoes purchases you have made (non-golf apparel), have you managed to eek out as much value as that?

I'm all for eeking as much value out of things as possible. So I tend to get to the course 10 mins early so I can cover my scorecard with an off cut of woodchip wallpaper I had, those textbook covering skills came in useful!!

I am going to check with the comps sec to see if having a pristine card with a feint whiff of imitation leather is worth an extra shot when the cards are checked
