Sickness

When I worked I was always picking up bugs, used to have at least a couple of colds every year and sometimes worse. Since I retired 5 years ago I have been pretty much bug free.

I hope posting this hasn't jinxed things.

That is/was one of the pitfalls of working in the medical centre. During the winter months, when someone had a cough they had to cough on you to prove they had a cough.
 
I used to pride myself on the lack of days off sick.

Was usually a dodgy home made curry rather than a sniffle. I just never got sick.

I think having two parents who were teachers helped.

Then our little boy started going to nursery, don't recall being well since. :mad:

Top it off with my wife working at a GP office, she is doubly always ill!
