Self-obsessed playing partners having a bad day at the office.,

A wholly unpleasant image

Just noticed your signature Daniel....

Just fancied a bit of bladey action mate.. For some reason, as good as the TM's were, I just didn't like the fact that I was playing with them.. Not even really sure of the reason.. But, looking back, all the comps I won were with Mizzies.. MX23's, JPX800's, MP32's.. So, the future's blue!!! :D

Because they're drrrrty.

Glad you've seen sense, I love mine and doubt id go for anything other than Mizuno.

Might start getting the bag etc and joining the Mizuno forum too!

What did you go for?

when playing in a medal or stbfd and pp goes into one the rest of the round is a lonely walk as i stay as far away from them as possible ,letting them stew in their own juice, but if its a ko comp i am prone to winding them up even more by adopting a more than cheerful image and keep reminding them of the score ,and telling them how well im playing ,as invariably they will be behind as you dont get upset if you are in front .

Picked up Steady Dave's MP54/MP4 combo set mate.. I knew they were sitting behind Dave's couch and I started to dream about smashing the MP4's all over Carnoustie next month...

The Mizzy forum guys are a real good bunch. I've played with them a few times and I wouldn't hesitate to do so again.. Some of them are a bit too obsessive though.. Once they start comparing Mizzy budgie smugglers and Mizzy branded rubbers then I knew it was time to leave :D

Today in our swindle i got paired with the golf equivilent of Kevin and Perry - the Kevin was stropping the whole way round - clubs thrown , balls smacked away , proper Kevin strops. The Perry was in a biggy and oblivious to everyone else as he sped around the course making noise whilst people were trying to play , unable to keep still when people were putting - today was a very good test on concentration and being able to block out and focus on your own play - and just to laugh at them :D

Always good to make fun of PP's. Never thought of having a word and trying to educate?

Even if you don't play like a god you will still look boss over the ball.

Have just realised less than 50% of my bag is Mizuno. Would be about as welcome as Adam Johnson at a Girl Guides convention.

Omg, this following on from your etiquette thread/rant about slow play, bunkers unraked, loads of pitch marks and talking/shouting etc going on at your club, it really doesn't sound or come across a nice place to play, does your secretary know how well your presenting your club on an open forum, it's sounds like a very troublesome place, are you a member there or a social worker 🤔

😜 😂

Guy at our club is known as TNT because he blows up once a round but nothing to the extent mentioned on this thread.

Thankfully I've only come across one person anywhere near as bad as this and he wound up having the rules on competitions modified because anyone drawn with him would simply not play. He'd storm off the course, throw clubs around etc. Thankfully he left after a year and I then had the misfortune to run into him a few years later at another club - he hadn't changed. But if you don't have *******s in life, how would you know who the good people are?

Speith just had a little strop - club being slammed into the ground

One of Mashleyr7 and my opponents today in our 4bbb was a 17 year old. Threw clubs, banged them in the ground and knocked balls off the green with his putter today. Mashley was right in saying he was a 13 handicap who was annoyed at every bad shot but everything about his game suggested he was really an 18 h/c who had mistakenly been cut!
