Quite a tough group, probably finish 3rd and pumped out of another tournament. I think the best options would have been one of the host nations groups.

We have been pretty fortunate to get there at all.

Wish we hadn't got Brazil and Morocco. I know 98 was ages ago but different teams would've been nice.
I think given the qualifying format we have a good chance. The best 8 third placed teams from 12 go through.
Surely we can get a good win against Haiti and preferably a few goals... You've got to think the best 3rd place positions will come down to goal difference... We just need to not get scudded by Brazil and Morocco... .. Easier said than done...

The tactics board was embarrassing, but totally changing formation after 2 days training was mad. Players looked like they didn’t have a clue what they were supposed to be doing.

Interesting to see the Hearts 'show pony' marking Clum MacGregor out of the game and also catching and robbing him of the ball in the Celtic penalty area to score Hearts first.

Dixie Deans passed away yesterday. A great old fashioned centre forward. The only man to score a hat trick in 2 finals, I was at both of them, great memories.
