Stick with Hearts…break the OF 40yr dominance by winning the league, and then the right and much better offer will come along for McInnes.I am not sure I can comprehend that sentence. What are you saying?

There is no better offer than Eangers.Stick with Hearts…break the OF 40yr dominance by winning the league, and then the right and much better offer will come along for McInnes.
Maybe not financially as far as salary is concerned...but Hearts owners have plenty money for a BIG win bonus...There is no better offer than Eangers.![]()
Because they played like Accrington Stanley. Why would Scotland fans be booing their own team when they are winning and looking like qualifying for the World Cup![]()
Because they played like Accrington Stanley.
I would not like to see them anywhere near a World Cup playing like their last two games
Pointless getting to a World Cup Final if you are going to get a 5-0 hammering each game. They won ?
It’s qualifying - the main aim is to win and get the points on the board to help them qualify for a World Cup ( a tournament they haven’t been in since 98 )

I take it that you did not watch the gamesAnd very pointless making those level of judgments based on qualifying games
Scotland have played 4 games in the league and are unbeaten - maybe some perspective is required

I wasn't booing - but I was shouting at the TV in frustration (my wife told me to stop as I might have a heart attackWhy would Scotland fans be booing their own team when they are winning and looking like qualifying for the World Cup![]()
I mean, if ever there was an open goal for a comment, it's thisThe performance was just awful - and as the game went on it seemed to get worse. I'll never, ever, boo Scotland as I support Scotland as much as, if not more than, my club...because for much of Scottish football beyond the OF, the Scotland team is our main source of hope and glory.
The team he picked. He’s got a cheek.I take it that you did not watch the games
Steve Clark 'seemingly' ripped into the team after the game.
Never been a critic of Clarke, but when I compare his personality with that of Simo Valakari, the relatively new St Johnstone manager…worlds apart.Scotland were always going to need the Play Offs to make it through realistically.
Not sure if Clarke is the right main to take them forward though, a very negative and depressing manager and personality. He managed Reading for a bit and almost got us to the FA Cup Final but was sacked within a year.
Were St.J fans saying this last year about Valakari?Never been a critic of Clarke, but when I compare his personality with that of Simo Valakari, the relatively new St Johnstone manager…worlds apart.
The thing is Valakari is engaging and has got the fans onboard and enthusiastic…even when winning or drawing with a poor performance. He is able to be realistically critical of a performance, and has been of late, without being dour and miserable, and without being hyper negative of specific player performances.
Of course easy to say at the moment when results are going well on the pitch…but we could say the same about Scotland’s results.
We were OK with him as he was engaging as described…and we knew he was trying to sort out the mess of the squad he’d been left…the detritus of the post cup double shambles and waste - and as we have come to understand, sort out some real negative and toxic stuff that was going on in the squad. He’s cleared all of that out and got his own team in.Were St.J fans saying this last year about Valakari?
