Scottish Fitba'

Not Scottish football, but I can’t believe how short a time Ange lasted at Notts Forest.
Pretty ridiculous. I hope he gets back into management soon.

ps R Martin might do well at Forest.

Well a 724 mile round to trip to watch StJ get what’s been coming for a few weeks.

That said Arbroath were up for it and me and my lad really enjoyed our visit to Gayfield Park. Proper old football ground - main stand and three sides terracing - each mostly covered. Through the turnstiles, easy peasy and straight to picking up a programme for £2.50…three ladies clearly just volunteers; queue up for a steak and black pie (splendid), hot dog and two drinks for the grand sum of £10.50; then up a short flight of steps to the top of the terracing…we stood on terracing with the majority of the large Saints supports. My lad has never stood on terracing before and couldn’t believe how easy the whole thing was.

The game…was not bad…though the way Saints lost the three Arbroath goals was very poor. Hopefully lesson will be learnt.

It was definitely the wrong club for him. Nottingham Forest have been set up for defending and hitting on the break for the last couple of years. Add to the mix that Ange isn't pragmatic enough to change his style.

Hearts playing some great fitba in that second half against a decent Killie side.
Can't see them holding on to Bragga for very long, enjoying it whilst it lasts.
The Celtic game next week will be the main test, can't wait for it.
Celtic got a tough EL game Thursday night while Hearts have a free week to prepare.

I’ll be happy with a point.

Ange’s style was never working with forest, not anytime soon anyway, he’d need a lot more time to build his own squad that can play his way which he’s not going to get.

Hard to believe Dundee haven't beaten Celtic since 1988. There would be some guys in the Dundee crowd today who are older than me but were at school when they last won...

Not at all, massive game for Hearts IMO.

Celtic have been this course SO many times, Hearts haven't been anywhere near since 1986.

I just don't recall celtic (potentially) being 8 points behind anyone before so I'm not sure how they've been on this course

I see it like this. If Hearts beat Celtic next weekend, they have a genuine shot at a title run. If Celtic lose they can still win the league.

However, if Hearts lose at home against Celtic next weekend, they will NOT win the league.

Just my opinion, other opinions are available...

Does today change things?
Didn’t see it but radio commentary suggested that Celtic just weren’t up for it.
Is it an unhappy dressing room?
