Scottish Fitba'

What a weird game.
Scotland were awful for the first 60 minutes, so bad that even the dog stopped watching. :D
Greece played lovely football and should have been three or four goals in front [again]
Then thirty mins of scrappy stuff with three scrapy goals and a wonder save by Gunn later.
3-1
I wonder what odds you could gave got on that after the first hour.

I thought Stevie G was nailed on when he came over for an interview... I wonder what put him off... 🤔... Tbh I never even remembered he was at rangers for 3 seasons..
I think it could work in Rangers favour not getting Gerrard. If they can get an experienced manager that can play positive attacking football they'll do well. I'd go for the Bodo Glint manager.

Couldn’t understand the excitement about Gerrard coming back. He won 1 domestic trophy out of 9 in his spell, then walked out mid season.

McInnnes would be a good choice, but can’t see him leaving the Jambos.

He won the league from nowhere and went the whole season unbeaten. That was quite a feat.

It was, but it did help that Celtic totally self destructed under Lennon.

What about the other 8 trophies he failed in? 😀

I remember when he walked out, Rangers fans weren’t that bothered, and were claiming that Beale was the real brains behind the operation 😂

Not my idea.

They should go all out for McInnes imo, make him an offer he can’t refuse. If they can’t get him, then Dyche is a good bet, the football won’t be pretty, but it will be effective.
As an Everton fan I can confirm, no it won't be pretty. Nor will it ever be pretty. He might stabilise the football side of things but fans won't enjoy the ride.

At the moment, we need effective not pretty.

Fans only enjoy football when they win, that’s what counts.
You say that but turgid soon wears thin. Simply winning when you aren't sounds like a panacea but when you are grinding results out and little more then it isn't enough. After all, football is meant to be entertaining as well.

Get him in, don't give him more than a two year deal. That way, when you've had enough of what you are watching you simply don't renew his contract and it doesn't cost you to get rid

It was dire against Greece…but I’ll take it. Need to get Scotland to the WC whatever as I can’t have a Scotland team in my club’s WC Texas scramble comp unless they are…and for as long as the comps been running there hasn’t been Scotland team in it.

Meanwhile Belarus should be a trot in the Mount Florida sunshine this afternoon…chances are it could turn out to be a load of trotts, but a Scotland win I’ll accept a doze.
