Was there not some rumour about the Dallas Cowboys years ago? What would be the benefit to Rangers? What would the 49ers get out of it? With FFP owners can't just plough money in anymore. Possibly improve the commercial side of things, but most of these people are out to make money and there's not a lot of that is Scottish football.

Even if there was a huge amount of money injected the top players would still not come to play in Scotland. If they did, it would be as a stepping stone to a better league.
