If, and it is a sizable if, this deal goes ahead I don't think it will result in an influx of cash for Rangers and it may well result in feeding Leeds but that might also involve developing young talent coming the other way.
What I do think it would represent is stability. Moving away from rogue and dodgy shareholders that seem to have plagued them since the last dodgy dealer held long term power.

Absolutely not. He had his hand on the wheel that led them to where they are now.
I also know people that had to deal with MIM over the years and they got a pretty raw deal.

I was always amazed at how clean he seemed to walk away from it all with fans blaming everyone but him but I guess all the trophies (whether illegally won or not) clouds people's judgement.

Yep, I've always thought he might have been worried his knighthood was going to get taken back for defrauding the tax man so wanted to get rid of Rangers asap to get out the limelight.

Rangers do need stability and it's the only way they'll compete with Celtic on a regular basis. I don't know if Celtic fans fear that in fact they'd probably welcome it.
