Scottish Fitba'

did they rise from from the dead? that is indeed remarkable :ROFLMAO:
Did they not have a Lazarus playing at some time recently - they've tried everything else to catch up with Celtic...might as well try a miracle. Mind you put simply (see what I did there) Jim Kerr is not likely to promise Rangers a miracle.

Hearts play really well and out perform Rangers in every stat except hoof ball, goalkeeper saves and own goals conceded ;)
Very strange game and result but Hearts lose 3-1

Thought it was very odd that they didn't review the two handed push on the Hearts player, particularly when Rangers went straight up the park and scored o_O

It us all structured so the teams from the top 5 leagues get the biggest share because of tv money. It's the equivalent of Hovland winning the Masters but getting 25% of the winnings an American would get.
It has stopped true competition, could you imagine Malmo getting to a UCL final like the did in the seventies? As someone else has pointed out it distorts competition in the smaller leagues. If Celtic get knocked out they will have already made more money than Rangers would get for winning the Europa league.
It's even more rigged for the big leagues and more so for the big teams within those leagues, the prize money given out also has a league value multiplier attached to it. Man City get nearly 75.8M for 11 points and more than Villa for their 16 points, Leipzig get 58.7M for a whopping 3 points while Celtic get 46.2M for 12 points. But even teams like Girona get shafted while being from a big league because they aren't a big team with a Euro history. Look at the difference in their money compared to the other 3 Spanish teams, yes they only got 3 points (like Leipzig) but they only got 29M while the other 3 Spanish teams took 89.4M, 84.9M and 78.3M.

It's essentially a Super League in all but name, the big teams are stealing all the money.

Absolutely shocking and wrong.

So if Celtic and Man City get knocked out at exactly the same stage they will get 30 million euros more. No wonder teams from poorer leagues can't hang on to players and compete at the top level.

Yep, it's a total con. They are building past performance multipliers into it to make sure the big teams still get the vast majority of the money even if they perform poorly for a year or two. Throw in the money those teams already get from their TV deals then teams in Scotland, Netherlands, Portugal etc have no chance of hanging onto any decent players they find or produce.

The rich get richer - the poor continue to struggle fighting over the drips that spill over from the cups of the rich.

It’s on Amazon Prime tonight as was City v Madrid last week.

Expect you will be supporting Bayern!
Given that the last thing that a fan of any Scottish club needs is Celtic getting even more money, then yes, I want Bayern to win.

Have always enjoyed watching them and other German teams when I’ve seen them.
