As with the EG app, you are asked to attest the score electronically, that puts an electronic marker from you against the score. Way more reliable as evidence of certification than a squiggle on a scorecard or a touch screen.

When you input a card in EG there is no verification signature- the person attesting the card doesn’t sign anythingPractical issue with that is Certification has to have some shelf life, so a third party can use it.
As said above. Folk have been dq'd for years for unsigned cards.
Nor is MyEG having to rely on verbal verificationWhen you input a card in EG there is no verification signature- the person attesting the card doesn’t sign anything
I’m sure on the EG App, you sign the screen then send the card to the attester who also has to sign the screen on his phone to say it is correct. When you input a card in EG there is no verification signature- the person attesting the card doesn’t sign anything

Apologies if this has chsnged, but that’s how it worked in the summer
Not verbal verification. Not once have I ever heard that to be acceptable, from a Rules perspectiveso there is no definitive “verification” - it can be a multitude of different ways
