I’m not convinced Rahm and Hatton beats Bryson and Thomas either.

I think it could be 2-2 end of session one.

I also think it’s going to be a US win but a close one 15-13 maybe. I think it’s the singles where Europe will be pulled apart.

I watch tv.....it has been on the news. I listen to talk radio while in the car.....its come up there as well. I use the internet.....no way I can stop that. I go to the golf course...yep, a whole lot of people are talking about it and of course asking me what I think about it. I don't have Sky sports....as mentioned before I don't watch much of any sports. Have you actually read any of the comments I've made?....

Now.....I'm partially kidding when I say I'm sick of the Ryder Cup......but especially if I keep going to the golf course (I will be golfing)....no way I can avoid it. Granted....I don't get why people are so excited about it...but everybody has their interests. Some people sit around watching sports all the time....I don't get it, but it's their lives and they can watch (or not watch) what they want.

No one cares that you don’t want to watch the Ryder cup.
The rest of us on this RYDER CUP thread are looking forward to it.

I love Bryson he’s come a long way and he has proper passion and a desire to win for the team. Plus he’s exciting I can see a good RC for him and I don’t see them losing match 1

I know what you mean but in foursomes he doesn’t need to be perfect he’s only playing half a game. He just needs chances and I can see that being 1-0 USA.

The most interesting thing about this course is the difficulty with the long rough, Keegan Bradley admitting it has been cut down means it will just be another bombers course. It has the potential to be, dare I say it, far less interesting as a result.

Y’know I used to love the Ryder Cup…and think I still do…but…

The aggressive jingoistic attitude of so many fans is turning me off it. That said I’m looking forward to it but dearly hope that the golf is the story.

They are more likely to hit it offline trying to bomb it, that's why the rough is shorter.

Looking at the US team I wonder if everyone gets a game on the first day.
He will be bringing in 3 rookies and Burns who I think has only played once before.
If we can get 2-2 out of the 1st session it could be a good day for us

Interesting stat on Sky sports earlier 4 of the US Team can drive the first hole by cutting the corner, 5 of the European team can do it!!

With the odd exception of Bryson there’s not a great deal amongst them all for length

I don’t buy that! Pretty much all of the European team play the US tour and play the same style of bomb it golf. This course isn’t set up to suit anyone it’s merely set up to maximise attacking the greens even from the rough and that suits everyone not just the Yanks

That was my thinking.
They make it sound like the US team are all smashing it & the Europeans are all just keeping it in play.
