Noticed he was left out today. Can't wait to see what reaction he gets when he comes on the field, especially away from home. Considering the abuse John Terry, Rooney, Ashley Cole and the like have got in the past surely Giggs is gonna get canned! Wonder if Fergies trying to keep him out of the storm hoping it will blow over......

He'll get abuse, no doubt about it but I don't think it will be all that bad compared to the others you named for the simple reason he's more universally like by other teams fans and has earned a lot of respect over his career.

He has been very silly, and handled it badly, but for me so what.

Leave him be. It happened in his private life, I have no interest in what people do in their private lives and even soemone in the public eye like he is doesn't deserve to have it reported on. None of them do.

I think it reflects badly on the people in this country that they're interested. The media only publish what people want to read.

Agreed
He will get abuse from pockets of fans, but no worse than anyone else.
He is my idol, ive named my son after him,and whatever hes done off the pitch it will never change what he has achieved on it.
He has lost a lot of respect from fellow players and some past players have made comments, that to him will hurt more.

Wait, does this mean you're a United fan Tony? What a shame, just when I thought we could be mates. :( ;)

I've lost an awful lot of respect for him. Not so much because of what he has done, but because of the way he has handled it. All along he's just tried to bury his head and use him money to get him out of the situation instead of coming out and admitting he done wrong and apologizing to all the people he let down.
