Ferdinand is a great defender but he's hardly played this season and looked off the pace in the last two friendlies. For some reason I see Carragher stepping in and having an immense tournament next to JT...

Ferdinand was one of three crocks that Capello selected (why do we always do this!). Heskey may prove his worth if he can get rid of the other two (King and Barry) so that we can at least start with a reasonably fit team.
