I heard the interview after I posted. Brought tears to my eyes I confess.Heart wrenching interview
After seeing what happened to Rob Burrow and Doddie Weir, he must be looking at that and thinking it's going to happen to him. A horrible prospect for anyone.Heartbreaking for him
It seems that professional footballers and rugby players are more at risk of it
Really hope they have some break throughs with the treatment
Absolutely superb effort against a great sideCracking day at Murrayfield , amazing atmosphere and nearly got the result
Gave themselves a mountain to climb. Climbed it then fell off the other side. Typical Scotland.Absolutely superb effort against a great side![]()
It is relatively logical as it was a choice between him and Ford to start but neither are the best bench options as they offer the same thing and only cover one position, which is not much use with a 6-2 split on the bench. Marcus Smith not only a different playing style but covers full back, which would then allow Freddy Steward on to the wing in an emergency. That covers your back 3 with a couple of the back rows threatening to cover centre, and CCS covering back row and lock. That gives you cover across the pitch whereas there would be gaps with a one position fly half and a lack of the ability to change styles if necessary. In reality Ford and Fynn Smith are competing to start but neither are as attractive bench options![]()
England v New Zealand: George Ford returns at 10 to face All Blacks
George Ford returns at fly-half and Freddie Steward at full-back for England's much-anticipated showdown with New Zealand on Saturday at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham.www.bbc.co.uk
Interesting choices - find it a bit staggering that Fin Smith is not involved

Given time i would expect Fin to be able to cover 12 as wellIt is relatively logical as it was a choice between him and Ford to start but neither are the best bench options as they offer the same thing and only cover one position, which is not much use with a 6-2 split on the bench.
