Roll Back Discussion

It is for 100mph driver. Covering the span, the charts for 85mph and 115 mph are essentially the same message. Perfectly relevant to average golfers.
Not sure many average golfers play in Arizona in the middle of July, when there is no wind, no humidity and the temperature is in the 90s (or higher).
Where is the data from testing at below 200m above sea-level at 65 degrees and medium humidity?

Its still strong data. Those for whom it conflicts with their data-less preconceived views will likely dismiss it though...you cannot have facts conflicting with prejudices.

It's strong data if you play in those conditions. Cores and covers may behave very differently at different temperatures, altitudes and humidities, and in the wind and rain.

Yes, the differences could be even greater than those shown in the table.
But the differences are clear, and there is no evidence presented there at least to suggest the results do not extend to other conditions. In the absence of that, the best conclusion is to work on the basis that the result is a good indication.

I might not recall correctly but I'm sure I read that the yellow pro-v1 outperformed a white one in the rain but can't recall in what capacity

You are against changing the ball.....but you are fine with changing the clubs??? Why would making club changes be ok (and making the game harder as some would argue), but changing the ball upsets people?
Changing clubs for pro events makes for a really easy bifurcation. But I see your point. It's equally silly

Interesting one about the “ forgiveness of drivers”
monitoring this ??
IMO this is the biggest tech advance in the last few years and almost dwarfs the distance gains.
You can mostly hit it anywhere on the face without much distance loss.
This explains why someone can drive the ball well but the rest of their game is poor.
