roku and plex streaming

iv got a roku lt streaming device attached to my tv and im trying to stream the sky go app but i believe you have to go through the plex app of the ipad and conect it with the plex app on the roku but for some reason i can only view pictures and videos that are on the ipad and no music. when i try to add a channel it just comes up a blank screen im guessing there should be some channel choices ?

anyone got any ideas or even another way ?

Iirc you can't stream anything from the sky app...
