I strongly recommend NickWax. You can get it in good Outdoor/Walking gear shops, it waterproofs, protects and preserves the leather.

Might help if you keep them clean after each round and dry them carefully and thoroughly. Also apply a polish or leather treatment regularly this nourishes the leather to keep it supple and also more waterproof. Also white leather seems to be poorer quality than black in my experience

I've had loads of shoes, golf shoes, football boots, walking boots, miltary boots and never had a crack in the leather of any even when dried on radiators when trekking for a few weeks during winters. Ivealways looked after footwear carefully as its the only thing to keep you from the ground or weather (sockes not included)

Look after them is a good start. I always clean my shoes when it has been wet and muddy, maybe not as often when it is bone dryin the middle of summer. I have always used the actual footjoy white polish on mY shoes and found it keeps them in great condition. I have a well used pair of FJ dry joy that are about 6 years old that I use for when the weather is really wet. They look a little bit battered, but look in a lot better shape than yours do.

Golf shoes get a lot of abuse, a lot more than your normal will. They also spend a lot of time covered in mud and water so they need a good layer of protection on them

Yes it come in plastic tubes nowadays, it keeps the leather soft and waterproof, also stops cracking.:thup:

I agree, I always have FJs, always clean them after every round and polish them regularly. I've never had a leak in any of them
