Although I like to send with my local Pro when buying clubs etc, most of his clothing range is aimed at the finely honed athlete !

I have used both Snainton and Discountgolfstore for clothing items, they seem to be the only ones that stock certain things in Zepplin size !

Good service from both.

I used clubhousegolf to get a set of Proquip silktouch waterproofs. They were reduced from £189 to £109 for the full suit and a huge choice of colurs and you could mix and match jacket and trousers. Good value and great service.

I use to use AG at Bird Hills in Maidenhead because I knew the manager and I got a lot of stuff at silly prices (and some stuff that was down as being eturned as damaged etc) and so there was no way my pro could compete. Now he has gone and I'm just a regular punter I go to my pro for all my clubs having used the AG facilities to try the various specs first.

I use my local pro as much as i can the only trouble you get sometimes is when you want something that unfortunatley they dont stock and have trouble getting. This happens even at AG cause they cant stock everything! i strayed and bought a GIGA Driver which got great reviews in Golf Punk as the 'Mutts Nutts' it was a little journey to try it but was worth it in the end as tried lots of different shafts and lofts and found the one for me. They built it there and then great service, took it home same day.

I would recommened maximusgolf

They even got Honma thats scarey pricing, set of irons £3999 ouch!! worth a look Maximus golf home page

I can support the recommendations for onlinegolf but have a new site to recommend (or at least early impressions are good).

Tried www.golfsupport.co.uk on Sunday night was wanted to get a Woodworm golf sweater for a borthday present and could not find one anywhere else. Was slightly nervous at first as no tracking of order on website but got home today to find it had arrived 48 hours later. Nice touch as well was that my receipt was in a little plastic bag with a business card and half a dozen wooden golf tees. Bought the sweater at a good price as well.

Will be using them again in future.
