I learned to get on the bike early in life.. went with me everywhere from school to college - was great fun. Stopped after getting a job as I was travelling the world.
Yesterday nipper got his first hand me down balance bike. Just could not get him off it for most of the day. Fabulous trip to Halfords to get him a Ben10 helmet. Made me run alongside him for about 2 miles.
One happy lad who would not get off his bike or take his helmet. Wanted to go to bed with it!! I am sure this morning he legs will be aching and a sore bottom, but will be keen on getting on the bike again.
Just love it when the kids experience the same (positive) feeling that you did eons ago. Also top marks to the friendly folks at Halfords.
