I think that I have now eradicated my slice, but the Taylor Made Draw Utility/Rescue 3iron with a Xstiff steel shaft that i have is now drawing too much.

I have looked and had a couple of hits with the two Mizuno's that were in AG (the latest and the Hi-Fli) and were very impressed (I would like a graphite shaft), however I would like to know what other options are out there.

Dont really want to spend over £90. The Mizzy's were both £69.

My commemt is not worth anything i the worst hybrid player in the world but i have a g10 and its a no the new mizuno is alright for the money but probally brilliant for everone else bar me

Another vote for the Cobra Baffler DWS. Mine is 20 degrees and a replacement for my 3 iron. I can get around 180 yards average and it has been a revelation. I use to be firmly in the "I can hit a 3 iron" camp but this is perfect on longer par 3's, playing for position on short par 4's and perfect on par 5's to leave me around 100 yards and a comfy wedge in

I just got a great ben ross v5 trimass in with the NVS aldila for £29 quid. That was worth the cash.

IMHO nobody makes better woods/hybrids/utilitys than Titleist, not sure what deals you would get on any though.

I cant hit a hybrid save my life everytime i pull it out i have no idea where its going to go.everyone i play with can hit them well apart from me and i so called the better player maybe i aint found the right club

Seems like the Cobra is quite popular. I did pick this up in AG earlier but didnt hit any balls with it.

I'm hitting my 3 wood about 230-235 and my 4 iron about 190-195yrds so need something in the middle. May even have to go down to a 2 iron, is that a 18deg?

I have just the club for you....

I phoned up the very nice and very helpful chaps at the very excellent SNAINTON golf and they steered me away from the TM draw version because they said it was too good at sending straight shots left!!!

They suggested a non-draw club and I've picked up a Callaway Heavenwood and an MD EQL which are both very good. Of these, you might like the EQL particularly the new version with the pro-force. I'm not using the EQL a.t.m. but I'm expecting it to come good as my swing improves, otherwise I'd post you mine. But it might be worth you trying one. Haven't managed to hook it ever!!!

I'm open minded mate. I cant find these clubs on Snaintons website, do they sell them or were they just advising you to get them from elsewhere?

Yup....that's the bad boy.

I have to say the general performance of this club is superior to my Callaway. This is the old model (same as mine) and the only problem I have with it is simply the way the shaft reacts, I tend to push it when it goes wrong....what that tells me I don't know BUT I suspect the grafalloy blue is a tad too stiff for my swing. Plenty of chaps at mine have hit it and although not finished in such a high quality as Cobra/Callaway, it goes well.

Thanks for the feedback.

For just £27 surely its got to be worth a punt!

i did also notice that they have two different models, I presume that is the new/old model? I has the pro-launch shaft and the other V2, what is the difference there?

The V2 model is the newest most expensive model and a good buy if you get on with the shaft

The good thing with Md the amount of choices there is always something to suit
