Seriously considering going to purchase the taylormade rbz 3 wood over next few days. Am looking good or bad views on the club from fella forum members.
Cheers in advance.
Cheers in advance.
I will be in the absolute minority with this view but; I just don't like them.
Tried one and didn't give me anything (feel or distance) that my current MX700 gives me.
I tried them both at the same time and it would have been £119 (at the time) for nothing.
Loads on here have them and swear by them though. For me Mizuno JPX800 is a better fairway.
Thanks greig, had a jpx800 3 wood when they were 1st out and couldnt get on with it and havent really used a 3 wood since.

Got one, love it.
I've been chasing a 3 wood I like for quite a few years and finally have one that I'm more than happy with. Mind you, I've gone for the 3HL version, which is more like a 4 wood for loft. Its good for length and very straight for me.
I'd suggest going for a test drive.
Well if its of any use to you my dad is 62....He hits short but straight....Always craving for extra yards and has just changed Callaway Razr Hawks 3 and 5 woods for TM RBZ 3 and 5 woods and he's creaming them......
He reckons he's at least 20 to 25 yards longer with them than the Callaways....Now this may have been a shaft thing but he always buys regular and he cant speak highly enough about them.....
Iv hit them and they are nice....The regular shafts were hooking on me a lot and i was fighting them a bit but they have a lovely flight.....
I would nearly say that his 3 wood is longer than my i15 but its hard to tell when i was hitting everything left...
Nice bats though....
Wrong shaft maybe? I has reg flex in my fairways for ages and had real problems with them. Moved to stiff after being fitted for the MX700's and million times better.
I went for an R11s just for the adjustability and the length was pretty much the same as the standard RBZ 3 wood.
Id definitely get fitted for one though if i was you!
Wont be parting with my hard earned cash( well sort of!)until im fitted for it properly.
See my post above, prices will be reduced shortly is my guess!
Just seen your post mate. Cheers for that. How sure are you that theyll be bringing something new out soon as i really do like the look of the rbz but may wait to save a few bob.
I'd be very surprised if it was that much bigger, I remember searching and found they were only 1/4" bigger than many other manufacturers.I had a go with one and the shaft was stupidly long, had to grip almost at the bottom of the grip to make it work. If I got my hands on one I would be looking at it being at least an inch shorter if not more.
