Rate your game!

Saw this on the PGA coverage the other week, where the pros gave themselves a self assessment on their game in the form of A*-E

I was wondering what you would rate your own game, but for simplicity let's score from 1-10. 10 obviously being the best.

I'm scoring myself based on the best I could ever be. I think if I compared myself to the pros, I'd score myself 1s across the board. If I've missed any important catergories feel free to add them!

Irons - 6/10
Short Game - 6/10
Putting - 3/10
Mental - 6/10

Total - 25/50

I'm hoping that this time next year I'd rate myself around 30/50 x

If I scored my self purely on today then the driving and the short game would both be 7 or 8. Tried to introduce a couple of thoughts to my pitching which previously, for a 4 h'capper, was poor, and had some very good results.

Seem to be playing really well at the moment, broke 80 for the first time in my first round of the year with a 77 (7 over) and followed it up with a 78 on Friday. Winter greens and soaked, mudbath of a course so hard to judge exactly how I'm playing. Been using the "hinge and hold" method from the Mickelson short game dvd which has been a revelation. My driving is still woeful though

You are very hard on yourself....you make it sound like you miss 50% of shots driving or with an iron. Chin up
