A quick hello world .. rejoining after a haitus of a few months. golfer previously called vkrup Have passed my self imposed deadline of playing atleast 5 games this year before joining.

Ran into Dufferman a few weeks ago and he looks like he is playing well these days and joined my old club. Trust all is well with all forumites..
 
Thanks guys.. not playing regularly. Was in the US for work for a week, hoped over to a friend of 90 holes over 3 days of pure golf incl couple of PGA and Web.com sectional qualifiers.. Was a pain for the body but LOVED every minute. First game shot about 120 but final game was low 90 incl a 88 (on a easy course). All I did was eat.golf.sleep.repeat

No.. unlikely at the moment. The day I ran into you was my first time on Hoebridge- but played only 9 holes as I had to take jr to footy. Discovered some new places on the back 9. Went OB on the 15th drive to the right hand side patch. also managed to hit the first tree on the left on the 10th, which nearly sent the ball back to the tee ;) (glad you did not watch that one)

Excuse the threadjack....

But as an ex-member...Yes! 1 'marmite' hole (10) where you tend to play 2nd and 3rd shots 'the wrong way around'! Otherwise a nice challenging course with plenty of decisions to be made! Quite a few blind-ish shots would be the only criticism from a 1st time visitors perspective. PM me for a 'rough guide' if you want!

Nice 'friendly' Par 5 - that can be eagled - to start! My favourite starting hole! Great finishing sequence too!

Yup just me.. like the new ball that you hit Into the rough and then find it a few months later when the rough has been cut back

Sounds fab.. but not sure I can PM you yet (need a min of 100 posts) I think I have been assigned the duty of bringing up the tail for the groups going off the 10th so won’t see the finish sequence the way it was designed.. but am looking forward to a proper game
