I'd just play... I enjoy playing golf - that's all there is to it.

Could have claimed my match against a scratch golfer in a cup game as he was 7 mins late for our tee time... but what's the point? Beating what is in front of you is the name of the game, for me.

I don't envy you one bit.

They quite probably knew the rules when they entered, and in effect they knowingly cheated. I wouldn't enjoy it one bit but I'd speak to the Comps/h'cap committee and would expect them to do the right thing and apply the rules.

If you don't say anything your in my opinion just as bad as them for not reporting clearly someone cheating

I'd absolutely report it. Its not fair on the losing team who were clearly beaten while they had an inactive handicap. There are rules in place for a reason and organisers need to take a stance
