Putter for arc type stroke?

I had a mess about before with the ping putting app so i know i have an arc type stroke. The Taylormade Ghost i use is meant to be for players with an arc, i'm not sure of the science behind it.

I'm just wondering is there certain putter styles that a player with an arc stroke should avoid?

Or with putters is it just a complete personal preference

Face balanced putters/mallet putters are for more of a straight back and through stroke.

Toe weighted suits those who putt with arc strokes. Last year I changed to a Ping Anser and love it - previously had a face balanced Odyssey Divine which was pretty but then discovered it wasn't helping me that much!

not sure it makes much difference, i have a slight arc but putt best with the face balanced Rossie
