The leaderboard looks exactly like a Tour event should - there are some players that are at the top of the tee - Scheffler , Cantlay , Speith , then there are the likes of Aberg and Tom Kim - it’s a diverse leaderboard which is what it should be - don’t want to see the same people every event at the top winning

Does annoy me that, if you didn't want a gherkin then ask for it without. Waste of a perfectly good bit of gherkin. I love a gherkin on my burger, gives it a lovely bit of sharpness.

Scheffler 1st in Strokes Gained tee to green.

He is the literal polar opposite of “putt for dough”… If he could just find a middle ground with his putting, he would be achieving peak Tiger levels of success.
It’s clearly very much in his head atm, there’s extra focus on his putts, he is over thinking and over reading everything.
Surely there’s a putting coach out there that could resolve whatever his issues are? It’s not even that he needs to learn to putt well, he just needs to putt slightly better!

I haven't been following his putting or anything, but has he tried anything outside the box yet? Like others have found success with claw grip, left hand low, arm locks, broom handles etc, but he seems to have just persevered with his standard grip, simple blade putter approach like some sort of staunch traditionalist.

Woods is currently ranked a lowly 893rd in the world, but all that can change hugely with a record 83rd PGA Tour title on Sunday.
He is currently tied on 82 PGA Tour wins with late great Sam Snead.
Should Woods win the 2024 Genesis Invitational, he could vault a whopping 839 spots to 54th in the OWGR.

I guess it’s prob down to a few factors
The level of points he is “protecting” is very small so any points gained will give someone a big boost up the rankings especially with the bonus points for winning etc
The changes they made seem to be a bit of mess and it was prob better before
a bit like putting a towel down on a sunbed?

No one can say the OWGR is accurately ranking the world's best golfers.
There are reasons for that but it's a fact non the less.
They all need to bring this whole thing back together for the good of the game

Why isn’t he a top 20 golfer ?
He has won on tour again which boosted him up then he was second at the Open and has had multiple top 10s over the past 12 months
Very talented golfer who is getting back to form

Who says he's not top 20? He's had two top tens already this year. Currently tied 2nd. He was joint 2nd at the Open! Won the Byron Nelson last year. Just because he wears some awful gear now doesn't mean he's not good at golf anymore.
If anything, a real ranking would put him higher than 54 if he won this week. Coming from not playing for a year, surgery, rehab, effectively a top 10 world player level before his accident, it would indicate that he is, despite the age, still so great, that he is well better than 54th.
