For me, the shot of the day was Gooch's chip in when standing in the bunker, ball outside. Wouldn't be surprised to see him win with the talk ongoing about not receiving a masters invite.

Garcia has shown glimpses of good form this year. A decent result here and he'll be confident heading to Augusta.

Shout out to Richard Bland as well. Has anybody in the history of golf had a late career flourish like his? Wins on the DPWT, takes the LIV opportunity on the back of it, and has had some great performances since.
 
Just using the rules to their advantage.
I'm not saying it's right, but maybe it's the rules that are wrong.


It's one thing hitting your ball into a grandstand and not having to find it.

It's something else to hit it on the roof of the actual club house. 😄
