Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

There is already a bone fide qualification criteria established and be that way for for decades

The yearly moan about it doesn’t change it

As the saying goes

“They knew the consequences when they joined LIV”

The tweet has been deleted so what did it actually say
Oh cool, is it time to talk about this again already? I nearly missed it. 😄

With all the stuff about slow play at the minute surely it would’ve made more sense on Sunday there to break it down into 2 balls instead of 3, or even going forward have another cut on the Saturday so you’re only left with 30/40 players on Sundays when the majority are tuning into TV

Niemann invited to the US PGA. (y)
The PGAoA traditionally invite the top-100 in the OWGR, and Niemann is pretty much guaranteed to be there come the time anyway.

However, it is interesting that, along with García, it was announced this far in advance. This, from the PGAoA's Kerry Haigh talking to CBS yesterday, perhaps explains why: "Our eligibility [exemption?] criteria is already announced [and] that will not change, but the great thing about our criteria is it allows us to have a lot of invitations to the championship. Because of that, the last three years we have had the top five players from the LIV money list play in the championship, which is something that we are proud of..."

So while the public criteria haven't changed (much), it would certainly appear that the secret criteria upon which invites are given have.

Which tournament are you referring to?

Hence why I said it should’ve been broke down to 2 balls instead of 3 and going forward have further a Saturday cut.
There is no cut in Signature Events.

It was an early 2 tee, U-draw start in the final round which didn't allow for 2 balls, hence they had to play in 3's.

Pebble beach.

Despite Tom Kim’s best efforts, pace of play at PB was actually rather good, with the event finishing well ahead of the anticipated schedule time.

Well bring a Saturday cut in and do whatever they need to do to have two ball final day.

Probably good in comparison to others and ahead of their anticipated but still a ridiculous amount of time to sit and watch a final day

Happy with my teams 1st day of work #FantasyLivGolf

I'm away working so missed it yesterday.
Watched highlights this morning, looked great under the lights..

Great start for Mckibbin, definitely a top young talent.
Hatton is just a machine recently and shock of all shocks The Majesticks are in the mix.

Really great to see Westwood playing some good stuff again.
