Just got home from the Pro Am at Forest Pines that me and mostivoi have just played in. well after a very chilly and windy day we did enough to come tied 1st(out of 30) but lost on count back but never the less had a fantastic day.

The course played it full length off the white markers with little run but the green although a touch slow were very smooth and true. Fairways as ever in good nick not that I saw much of them as since getting fitted for the Razar Hawk I have been working to get a left to right shape and believe me this is most definitely a right to left track!

All in all a very good day out

I really want to play this course, grew up about 6 or 7 miles away and never played it in all of 8 years as a golfer!

Maybe this Easter when I go back home, if I can find someone for a round there!

ScienceBoy get in touch when you want to play, I live in Scunthorpe so 2 mins away from Forest Pinces and, Like you never played it in 3 years ive played golf.

Great course. We won a gap wedge which was worth £75 so not bad at all. We all traded it in mind. Has to be the most expensive Pro Shop though.
Pros a good mate of ares. He had probably the worse round he's had for many years and still came 3rd.
If you live in the area its a must play course.

Well played guys - great to hear of the success.

Its a very nice course as discussed in other threads.

Played it twice with customers - one lot of Japanese guys ripped it up and took some money off me (albeit only a few quid) I did get the day off work to 'entertain them', free game plus a nice meal and held on to more of my money than my work colleagues did so all in all a great day.
