PCC at resort courses

Played the last two days at The Vale resort in Wales as part of a society of 36. Weather was glorious, both courses in excellent nick (if greens a little slow). Wide range of golfing ability, but some very low guys playing. However, nobody broke 36 points on either day.
Yesterday on the National course, which is 6600 yards off the yellows with lots of water, the PCC was 3.

It made me wonder whether this happens a lot at resort courses - lots of people who have never seen the course before, possibly playing with hangovers. Is there any way to see a record of PCC for a club that you are not a member at (I know I can look through comp history at my home course).

Incidentally, the venue is an excellent one - everything on site, excellent hotel, two quite different courses.

One course in the County had a midweek medal in the morning in fine benign conditions, they hosted a large society in the afternoon who hit the bar hard before going out and all put GP cards in. PCC was 3 much to some members annoyance.
