Our Club charge £24 per couple for a 4BBB and it is not usually full. However the prizes are £100/75/50/25/15 per player.
Played in a Comp last week where it was £42 per couple full field for 8 hours which works ot at over £400 being received by The Club.
The First prize was £80 and therefore total prize money would be in the region of £4/500 making a profit of £3500.
This I thought was a bit stingy but of course it is up to them. What is your prize structure for Open Comps and what do you expect to make excluding bar/food etc?
