Private company parking fines

As Chris knows I had on from a Macdonalds car park recently. I went in to the branch complained to the manager and she cancelled the ticket for me from her system!!

That was the best, and in your case, the easiest way to deal with it. Had she refused to get it cancelled we would have fought and won anyway!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I beat the scammers with regard to this invoice, it took me 6 months and one failed popla appeal to get the result I wanted.
Many thanks to chrisd and the guys on pepipoo who helped me fight it.

If you do get one of these invoices, fight it and NEVER take no for an answer

Following on from a tale that I heard today about a disputed £50 mobile phone bill that is unpaid and has led to a credit blacklisting from debt recovery agents, can you be blacklisted if you refuse to pay/communicate with the firms that issued these private company parking fines?

No, absolutely not. you have never entered a credit agreement with them.

Not unless they sue you in Court, win and you still don't pay

I would urge anyone not to ignore them, you take them on and win like Simbo did. He was a little unlucky that he got a brainless adjudicator hearing the case initially and needed to reappeal for his win
