Practicing while listening to music

Celine Dion!

Hope you didn't have any razor blades in your bag! If soemone knows Charlie Hopper can you please go round to his house to check on his well being!

It's ok, i use Mizuno blades so don't need to hear the strike to know if it's a good shot ot not. Practicing without music would bore me to tears in minutes. I listened to music when studying all through my academic education and did ok.
I think each to their own, music is an important part of my life and need it when i'm driving, practicing, reading......

I'll look into what you said as it may prove useful in the future

I'm not anti it, clearly a long/constructive session of golf (as an example) is better than a short bored one!

My personal suspicion is that if music relaxes you or get you in a certain mood, go for it. :)

Can't believe you are admiting to listening to Celine bloody Dion. :o

I'd be chunking shots left right and centre listening to that dirge but each to their own.

Far better with a touch of Kenny G,Jefferson Starship or maybe Risk Astley.

It just happend that her stuff came on when i was practicing and i only shanked a couple onto the 11th and skinned a couple but in general i hit it ok.

Will look into getting some quality music to listen too for next time

:)

Just curious to see who listens to music while practicing and if so, what do you listen to?
I was thinking about what type of music is good for practice and what would be bad. I had CELINE DION on my mp3 today and felt i had a good pace going with regards my routine and my swing. Normally i would listen to whatever comes on but might be more careful next time.

CELINE DION??!??!?!? WTF

i have no idea why there has been so many posts without someone ripping teh pi55.... ;)

One of my pals has a swing which slows down to a blur some days. I often tell him to think of the rhythm of the words"Severiano Ballesteros" to slow him down. But he keeps shortening it to "Seve" on the backswing.

Basically he's well @@@@ed.
