After breaking 2 hip implants in 4 years it has become very obvious that I need a complete swing change (well to actually get a proper golf swing actually!) Having lessons with the pro but have come across Brian Sparks on You Tube with his positive impact swing and the free and easy smooth action really appeals to me.. Tried to do a bit today with varying results.. Just wondered if anyone has adopted the Positive Impact swing and their feelings about it thanks.

Off to look... :)

Looks a bit 'Shakin Stevens' to me but if it works, my stance is quite narrow due to the fact that I'm not particularly flexible (bit of a gorilla) and if I stand with my feet to far apart I then struggle to follow through and complete my swing...

I read his book but never really bought into it and, now, can't even remember about it. To be fair my implants seem ok though and I hope yours are in the future

I have a Pro mate who is quite a fan of Sparks's approach.

I've seen some of the work he has done getting absolute beginners to pretty solid hitters in a very short time - so something about it certainly seems to work.

I think some of the stuff he proposes is actually a bit 'radically simple' for many! The old 'if it isn't difficult, then it can't be right!' view!

Thanks for your input, I have decided to look further into the concept and will see if there is a practitioner closer to the north than Foxholers place in Kent I beieve there is one round Coventry but will keep looking cheers.

Me in Kent? Nah! Try Surrey!

But Sparks is definitely in Kent (Manston Golf Centre)
