Some people watch tele for hours on end but have no interest in how it works
Then you have the engineers who have to dissect it, analyse it and then build their own.

I prefer to play golf and learn how things are supposed to work.. If it's a TV I watch it too pass time!

Im the latter, but i'm like that with everything... It drives the lads at work mad.. When a new piece of equipment comes in I have to know how it works, then I can find new and better ways of making it work more efficiently, or break it... Whichever is first...

I could count on my hands the number of times in a year I specifically watch something on TV. Normally when the last person leaves the room I'm in I switch it off.
