Just wondering if anyone has tried this? I have booked an iron fitting session when the truck is at Silvermere, which I hope to use to decide between the G700 and i500 irons. I have some fairly specific requirements - chunky grips and graphite shafts seem to help a lot with my arthritic (too many years fielding at 1st slip...) hands.
Is it likely that they’ll be able to accommodate fitting requirements like this? My club pro can, but I doubt he has the same level of tech available, or (frankly) product knowledge as he fits many brands not just Ping.
I suppose I’m asking two questions:
1. What should I expect from the tour truck session?
2. Am I likely to get a better fit from the tour truck specialists, or from my club pro (who is good, but a generalist)
