Evening all,
As most will know i got fitted for some i15's before christmas...Still hadn't recieved them up to 2 sweeks ago so i decided to ring ping and see what the hold up was...

To make a long story short it was a problem that they had with the shop in particular...Not the other way round as i had interpreted the story....

Anyhoooo i took my deposite back and decided to hold tough for a bit...

I went into my other local shop today after work and came across a set of i10's...4-SW for 199 euro's....
I trhink that thats pretty reasonable...There in good nick and i was able to borrow them for my round sunday..

Has anyone had and experience with them and is there a big difference between them and the i15's.

If i like them i will get a very good deal from the shop for my existing clubs and i know that it will be hard to judge after the one round but they seem like too much of a bargain to let go in the current recession...
 
I love my I10s - had them 2 years and not fallen out with them yet. They feel nice and solid and can be worked really well, I say go for it. Good enough for the world number 1 as well.

Sounds like a good deal. I have a mate off 6 who raves about them, and he's not 40 yet :D :D

They may need grips but other than that there fine....

I still dont get what the issue is with People using Pings....
A club's a club in my eye's....
Am i missing something :D
 
My opinion, I10's are a nicer bat than the I15's.

I just prefer the look of the I10. Its a minimal difference I know. I used I10's for 3 seasons and think they're a great set of bats.

What shaft is in them?
 
I loved and coverted the I15's but in the end decided against them. A great club and very forgiving and a great flight. It was close and given they were going to be a present (Chrimbo) very hard to turn doen but ultimately I would have been changing for the sake of it

There AWT stiff shafts Craw.
I was fitted for these also in the I15's so im guessing there the same...

So im using Old mans clubs then according to some? :eek:
 
AWT is what I have in my S57's.

They are a good shaft in my opinion and similar in characteristics to the Rife Project X Flighted. I think for that price you can't go wrong.

I would certainly recommend them.

Ya Craw....Iv hit these in the i15's and they felt fine....
Im likimg the feedback from the replies so much that im tempted to just go back to the shop in the morning and trade my old clubs...
