Ping 4 BBB qualifier today

Not the best weather and it certainly put a lot off, but we went out, had a couple of holes where it really came down but apart from that too bad. my partner played off 16 and unusually it was off 3/4 handicap. We didnt do too badly, no blobs, and finished with 38 points. Sadly we dropped a few along the way so although I think we have a decent chance of being the best score at the club, but sadly not enough to qualify for the final.

Interestly, I play my partner of today in the club challenge knockout last week.

Well it was good enough to win, will have to wait and see if we make either of the finals.

I didnt know that, i am sure we have our invitation coming up and I am sure that is 4BBB off full handicap

Someone needs to be pointed in the direction of Appendix F of the CONGU handbook which states that affiliated clubs must use the handicap allowances listed in the appendix.

Well 38 points was not enough to make the finals sadly. 41 was the lowest qualifying score, ah well.

The best score was 46, by a two ladies playing off 1 & 5. They must have played out of their skins with bridies galore to get that score.

in fairness 3/4 doesnt make much difference if you are off 1 & 5.
