Phills wonder shot

Can anyone on here pull off the phill mickelson wonder shot which he pops the ball over his head in the bunker ?
I've got close but most of the time it nearly clonks me on the head, I haven't tried it for a long while now but may try it when I get a chance at the ranges bunker

My regular golfing partner did that out of the rough on Saturday in the comp! Beat that Phil! :fore: I was still chuckling as i stood over my ball trying to play it!

P.S Ive never tried it as it would quite possibly cause damage in the thousands!

Not even sure I'd bother. Seems like a waste of practice time to me

ive done it, and in a comp, there was a massive downslope and a water filled ditch between the ball and the green coming out of a 'interesting lie*. ball just cleared the ditch and made it about 3 foot onto the green a good 20 ft from the flag but was good 64 degree wedge btw
