Parnevik - Out of Order

I see this morning that TW has offered his missus $5M to say sorry for what he's done. What an absolute tw*t.

if he has really done this he's either incredibly stupid or being extremely poorly advised. privately (still stupid) but publically!!!

All joking aside (and by the way I am not joking when I say Taylor is a modern sporting great), I will give you an interesting fact about Phil Taylor. Someone who genuinely can claim to be one of the best athletes/sportsmen in the world regularly contacts "The Power" for a chat on how he manages to sustain a level of brilliance in his chosen endeavour over such long periods. They discuss motivation, mental strength, training patterns and so on.

Any guesses who it might be?

I will tell you - Roger Federer. And I am not making this up!

No arguement from me regarding his feats - he's a legend!! His ability to keep on winning is phenomenal but no dart player can ever be called an athlete. :D

Is golf a sport?
I know Woods trains like an athlete but I was watching the Nedbank on tv earlier and it was being led by big Angel Cabrera. He is not in shape, freely admits never visiitng a gym and has at least stopped smoking fags!
Just shpws that you don't have to even be fit to play at the highlest level. Monty, Daly and Mickelson all spring to mind too.
Dont know who is greatest sportsman now but for 5 years 02-07 it was defo Lance Armstrong for me.

I reckon that the comments made by Parnevik in an interview yesterday were out of order.

All I'll add to this is if Parnevik's comments are so abhorrent, where are the counter-claims from the other pros?

It would be fair to deduce that the total absence of criticism of Parnevik from other players points to un-spoken agreement with what he said, or at the least lack of disagreement.

Whilst this story has shattered the 'we're really boring' image of Tee-Dubbya, the tag of 'world's number one player' is said to have had more than one meaning to many of the boys on tour.
