I am a member at this club and its in good condition and will be even better in 2014 as they doing even more work to improve the course . They are making alterations to the course as recommended by Martin Hawtree . If anyone is in the area and wishes to play here , PM in good time and I do my best to arrange a round with you , this year I had members guest tickets at £15 each and after that it was £30 summer and £20 winter with a member , next years walk on green fee is £85 , so it be a few quid more on the members rate maybe but no where near £85 .......................EYG

I'd be up for that mate. I've played parkestone once before in the winter and it was in top nick.

There are a couple more on here that will probably put their hands up also.

I'm a member at brokenhurst, which itself is a cracking course and will happily reciprocate. It's worth waiting until the spring to play my place tho as it can get a little wet.

Great , I have played Brock once only a few years ago , nice track , My mate`s father has a Bench in his name ( Tizard ) on the 5th I think , his dad had his only hole in one on that hole

I suppose I could drag myself around Parkstone.

We have a reciprocal with Ferndown, but Parkstone is better.

I'll look out for that on Sunday. I may even make use of his bench during the 6 hour Xmas scramble :D

You only get a bench at my place when you die.

:o I thought you meant he got a bench for his hole in one.

When I played both courses in the 70's/80's Ferndown was in better condition, but when I played Parkstone two years ago it had overtaken Ferndown. Must admit my favourite course in Dorset is Broadstone, but the two members on the forum have both just left.:(

Your scratch open is on my list for next year, dates dependant.

I'll be coming down Willy when the weather is better and I'll drag Nick down with me

Its in the better condition now then ever before , the course 2 years ago is not as good as today , more work to improve it is being done now , I have not played for a month now , been up for a drink , meals and watch the footie on sky as I have BT sport now , had the odd game of snooker as we have a snooker room , you both welcome and I will keep a few members tickets for you both , I come up and play at yours too in an open .................EYG

I was up there today , looks very good even in winter , the holes they have done work on are the 1st, 4th , 5th & 18th , new bunkers , both in shape and they have been moved , 4th is a tighter tee shot for those trying to drive this green , 5th has bunkers at the top of the hill on the left to catch your drives , alterations to greenside bunkers too , 18th has been shaped better and bunkers moved , looks good , only 4 holes this year and 4 more next winter , they have already done the 8th , 12th , 13th so next year will be the last , we have also lost lots of trees ........................................EYG
