More specifically the DX 3 soft ball? they look and feel different to my 'normal' Titleist NXT. They were on offer and my mate said he liked them so i bought a dozen.

Superb balls which i started again last week now its warmer

I have also used Dx2 but the Dx3 are nicer as an all round ball

Yep, agree as well. Very soft feel to them but they don't seem to lose any distance. Only downside to them is that they seem to scuff up a little bit more than most balls and tend to look a bit grubby quite quickly.

Pretty much as above, I use them as a summer ball, end of march to mid October. A great ball and if you look about you can often get 3 doz for between 30-35 quid , the last lot I brought were 3 dz for £30,

I brought a couple of dozen on recommendation of Oddsocks.

Truly fantastic ball and much, much better greenside than the AD333. They don't seem to spin any more off the tee than the Srixon, but offer much better control where it counts. Feel nice off the putter too!

I hit a 9 iron from a bunker last week and got some it to hold on a fim green (It actually span back a little). Hit a pitching wedge into a semi fim green last night and it pictched on the green and held that too!

Brought a few dozen more while the offer is on a AG at the minute so stocked up now for the season, maybe more.

Edit: Thanks for the Recommendation OddSocks

think wilson balls are really good at the moment,

im gaming the fg tour and i think its fantastic :)

I have to agree with Dave, im using the FG tour at the moment and they are absolutely brilliant, im considering trying the DX3 now too
previous was the Z Star just a bit expensive

I use them almost all the time now, as I find them really good. ScottJD on the other hand is not overly impressed with them, as he says they "feel and look funny".

I use the Dx2 in the winter and the Dx3 in the summer. Both fantastic balls and very, very good value.
My last lot was 3 dozen for £30 which is unbelievable.
I have no issue with their distance and I can get them to stop on the greens at my place.
I tried AD333s and found that around the green they flew off the club face and I had no real control. The Wilsons are excellent around the green.
They do scuff but then so do ProV1s, Z Stars, etc so not really a negative.

I'm keen to try the FG Tours - might buy a sleeve in the not to distant future.

They are superb balls, but just too expensive now. Used to be able to get them for £15/dozen. Then we all started raving about them on a couple of forums, and now they're £25/dozen!

Has anyone tried the FG Tour X out of interest?

Liked the FG Tour but the just felt a bit "rubbery" and almost too soft.

Might get some of the FG Tour X to try, just wondered if anyone else had....?

DX2 or DX3 are my ball of choice, I started using them and the old PX3 when I started playing and have not found anything better since at the price. The FG Tour is a superb ball and I picked some up a year or so ago at £20 a dozen. If I see them at a similar price when I next need some balls.

Trying the Titleist Velocity at the moment. Considering I have not been a fan of Titleist balls in the past but for my level of play they seem pretty decent. Not better than Wilson Staff but at least I can buy these in my pro shop. It never fails to surprise me how few pro shops stock Wilson Staff balls considering their quality and price.
