oops,played wrong ball

Our club champs strokeplay today,been looking forward to it.got to the 12th 6 over,but playing well and still with time to pull it back. I sliced my drive right, but found it. Titleist 4 with a purple dot. Managed to hack out then hit a great pitch to 4 feet. I then marked my ball and noticed it had a new logo on it!I had no choice but to disqualify myself. I didn't want to go all the way back and hold my parters up. Just a freaky coincidence the ball had similar markings and the logo was hidden beneath it.

At least I can enjoy a beer in the garden now. It was unbelievably hot

snap, i played the wrong ball cos a swan had sat on mine. had marked the ball on the green and realised, it was only twenty yards away had to shooo shooo the swan away:whoo:

Problem solved for future games. One shape on opposite ends of the ball, sorted.
