One tip that changed your game?

Tempo everyone’s got a natural tempo.
Trying to hit it to hard I get a glancing blow and a poor strike.
Swing to slow and shaft dosnt work properly.
Tempo is the most important thing in my mind on the course.

Course management.

If you slice then aim left, aim right if you hook etc. It's amazing how many people aim straight down the middle every time because 1 in every 10 shots goes straight. ANYONE can do this, you don't need to spend hours on the range to manage your way round the course.

That does lead to the classic 'I aimed left for my slice and hooked it OOB' though. :D

Funny you say that - but for the last 40 yrs when I find myself getting het up - rushing my shots and rushing between shots - I sing to myself 'Slow down - you move to fast - you got to make the morning last - Just kicking down the cobblestones - Looking for fun and feeling groovy…'

And that slows me down - and calms me down :)

Yup, you were actually the one that gave me the tip :D

One from a Peter Thomson book years and years ago that I found really worked

Put your right hand on the grip FROM BELOW

(Obviously for a right handed)

Apparently stops you from opening up your shoulders to your feet line
